About Texas
Texas, also known as “The Lone Star State” has always tried to be independent. When Mexico fought against Spain, Texans tried to fight to fight with Mexico to gain there independence. Texans finally reentered the U.S. after the civil war over as one of the last states. Everything seems to be bigger in Texas, bigger farms and bigger ranches. The capital of Texas is 6 feet taller then the Capitol in Washington D.C. The most notable thing about Texas is the cowboy theme. This happened when they intermarried with Indians, which created vaqueros or otherwise known as cowboys.
