Minnesota offers ore then 14,000 lakes to its visitors. It is known as “the land of 10,000 lakes” even though it has many more then that to offer. Two thirds of Minnesota if flat land or very smooth lands. This makes the environment great for agriculture and other farming needs. The top exports for Minnesota is in farming. They export oats, hay, corn and sunflower seeds, as well as some dairy products milk cheese and butter. The United States primary source of iron ore is through the quarries very close to St. Cloud. Minnesota also offers endless forests in the northern part of the state which attracts many hunters, hikers and campers. In the winters of Minnesota many outdoor winter sports are played including hockey, snowmobiling, cross-country, snowshoeing, ice fishing and even skiing.
