Alaska even though the winters are cold summers are still warm with temperature in the 90’s. Alaska, because of where it is located has almost no light in the winter, and during the summer, it has almost no darkness. Alaska also had the Gold Rush between 1880 and 1908, this changed Alaska tremendously.
